Dr Konstantin Georgiev

Dr. Konstantin Vanev Georgieve was born in the city of Stara Zagora. In 2011 he completed with full honors his secondary education at the Romain Rolland High School with a profile in English with French. And in 2012 he obtained a certificate for the highest level of English language proficiency - Cambridge Certificate or Proficiency in English (C2 ).

In 2011 he began his higher education at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, MU-Sofia. During his internship at the university he was sent on a one-month student exchange program at the Faculty of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, where he took an active part in the specialist program in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dental Medicine.

In 2017 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Sofia.
In the same year he won a competition for a full-time assistant at the Department of Orthodontics, SPF, MU-Plovdiv, where he leads the Bulgarian and English language training of third, fourth and fifth year students in dental medicine.

In 2018 he was enrolled in the specialization in Orthodontics at FDM, MU-Plovdiv.

His professional interests are focused on functional orthodontics and treatment with invisible "splints" - liners.

For the last three years he has been an active participant in orthodontic congresses with poster presentations. He intensively attends Bulgarian, European and world courses and symposia for continuous professional development.
